Last Friday it was announced that I had won the Fourth Nacho Blogger Award. My office phone has been ringing off the hook with congratulations. Long lost friends are now suddenly interested in my work.Â
However, the news isn’t well received everywhere. Like Al Gore I have my critics. They think I begged for this award. This just goes to show how ill informed they really are and how they really don’t understand the intricacies of blogging and on top of that blogging about home financing!
It is an honor to have won. I have big shoes to fill, for those who have gone before me are indeed much more worthy!
Finally, I’d like to thank the committee and all my readers for this vote of confidence. I hope to not disappoint.
